Our Program Areas
Child and Youth Health Program
This program is designed to provide comprehensive health services and support to children and youth, including preventive care, health education, counseling, and advocacy.
Empowerment of Women and Youth
Aims to increase the empowerment of women and youth by providing them with access to education, training, and resources that enable them to develop their entrepreneurial and leadership skills.
Communication for Development
This is a program utilizes communication strategies and tools to promote community participation, and enhance the effectiveness of development interventions in areas such as health, education, and governance.
Governance and Leadership
Through this program, young people can learn about the principles of good governance, develop leadership qualities, and contribute to positive social change.
Environmental Protection
This program encompasses a range of activities and initiatives designed to combat climate change, conserve biodiversity, and ensure the responsible use of natural resources.
Education
Within this program, we undertake a wide range of activities to promote educational equity and excellence. We believe that every child deserves access to a quality education, regardless of their socio-economic background.
Who We Are
Friendship Community Development Association is a grassroot non-governmental and non-denominational organization founded in 2020.
FRICODA was registered in 2022 with registration number NW/GP/001/17/16492, in conformity with law No 90/053 of 19th December 1990.

FRICODA Bookshop
This is the major Income Generating Activity of the Organisation and the revenue generated from there is used to ensure financial sustainability of the organisation as well as fun other organizational projects.
